Hello again,
Today I already wrote something in spanish and something in galician (see galegosnadiaspora.wordpress.com), so it is time to write in english right?
The last couple of days were fantastic, we had here Delmi Alvarez with us, we learned a lot, including that is possible to take a picture of me with my eyes open and looking fairly normal, I really thank Delmi for that, I always thought that I was doomed. He also managed to get pictures of Miguel smiling (another hard thing to do because Miguel gets really serious when he is in front of a camera)…But the most important thing is that we have the opportunity to meet a really wonderful person, an incredible professional with an incredible dedication to his work that made him to piece by piece build an amazing project such as “galegos na diaspora”, it is just sad the lack of proper acknowledgment of his incredible effort and brilliant work in our homeland…One day we Galegos will learn to appreciate our own potential…
Today I was trying to make sure that Delmi can use some of the pictures that he took of us in our laboratory without any conflict of interest with our workplace, and for that, I explained to somebody what was Delmi’s project about, and this person was amazed and wanted to know more about it….so, I wish people will react the same way in Galicia….
I will try to keep up with the blog, in Galician, Spanish and English….maybe one day somebody will read it and discover all the grammatical errors that I actually have in this blog….sorry about that, this is the price that one pays for being “trilingual”…
